NDIS Support and Services in Remote Communities

Our team are dedicated to helping all NDIS participants in both metro and regional areas. We are thrilled to have recently expanded our operations in Northern Territory to serve the communities of Katherine, Beswick, Barunga, Pine Creek, Manyallaluk and Binjari, as well as delivering services in Kowanyama, North Queensland.

With a focus on core support and support coordination, we ensure that participants in these communities receive the right services tailored to their unique needs. Our expert support coordinators can assist you with:

Ask us about Employment-related Counselling

Employment-related Counselling is designed to support and empower you to gain the skills and experience you need to secure meaningful employment.

At uLaunch, our expert NDIS Consultants will work one-on-one with you to understand your unique situation and personal skills and help you figure out what your next steps into employment look like. Develop your job application, interview, and employability skills.

We can help you to:

analyse your transferable skills
access local job opportunities
explore career and study options that match your interests and what you enjoy doing
get support to identify reasonable adjustments that will empower you to excel in the workplace

Following an initial assessment, a NDIS Consultant will customise a plan tailored to your needs to support you pre- and post-employment. This can include vocational counselling, soft skills development training, assistance building your emotional and mental resilience.

This funding, available under the ‘Finding and Keeping a Job’ section in the NDIS plan, is to provide workplace assessments and counselling to aid participants in finding and maintaining a job.

Personalised for you

Our highly qualified and caring staff provide one-on-one assistance to our NDIS participants. We listen and learn about your life, and work alongside you towards employment.

money handling skills

Realise your goals and ambitions

We’ll help you realise your individual goals and ambitions by collaborating with a wide range of services to allocate supports of your choice. Our registered partners and large network of community organisations and mainstream services can provide: 

support in the workplace, including employment assessments and counselling
confidence and motivation to join the workforce
your own personal employment consultant
transitionto-work supports, where what you need is beyond what is reasonable for your employer to provide – this could include training in how to travel to and from work, help building relationships with colleagues and developing basic work skills 
extra supports to help you find and keep a job if you need more than what DES can offer you
