This week, Jobfind celebrated its goal of achieving 500 Jobs for Christmas with donations to Arabic Welfare!
Together, Jobfind and uLaunch, both AKG companies, had the aim at the beginning of November to support 500 job seekers to start new jobs by Christmas 2024. To further fuel the mission, both teams were determined to donate to two charities of choice if they successfully met their goal.
Both companies are thrilled to report that not only did they meet their goal—they exceeded it, achieving a remarkable 822 jobs for Christmas.
Now, 822 individuals have the stability of job security this holiday season, allowing them to celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year with the hope and optimism that a new job brings. Truly, this is the greatest gift of all during the festive season.
uLaunch and Jobfind are committed to serving some of Australia’s most vulnerable individuals, providing tailored support to help them develop skills and gain meaningful employment. However, they don’t achieve this alone. Their participants and job seekers benefit immensely from robust community partnerships with service providers offering additional wraparound support to those who need it most. Recognising the vital role these community connections play, both organisations were determined to give back to their allies and partners.
One such partner, Arabic Welfare in Broadmeadows, provides services for newly arrived refugees and well-established migrants from diverse Arabic–speaking countries. Their vision is for all Arabic-speaking Victorians to be actively engaged and represented in Australian society. Jobfind places many Arabic-speaking job seekers and collaborates closely with Arabic employers, which is why they are proud to make a donation of $2,500 to support the community further.
Jobfind Regional Manager Joe Abdo had the honor of presenting a $2,500 cheque to the Arabic Welfare team, on behalf of Jobfind.

Jobfind and uLaunch extend heartfelt thanks to their Workforce Australia, Transition to Work, and Disability Employment Services teams for their unwavering dedication to transforming the lives of Australians, one job at a time.
