Jobfind is part of the Angus Knight Group. In line with our purpose and values, we believe strongly that diversity breeds better, more innovative workplaces, and we are proud of the Angus Knight track record:
In our most recent employee engagement survey, the most common words used to describe our workplace culture were: supportive, respectful, inclusive, team-focused, flexible, positive, friendly and fun.
One of our key goals is to develop leadership skills.
During 2021 we partnered with the Angus Knight Institute to develop a tailored program to be deployed across all businesses to develop leadership capability, build careers and continue to invest in our team’s growth.
We use the Ability MapTM tool to assess the capability of our team and support our recruitment activity. The tool helps us make hiring decisions based on the capabilities of the candidates, allowing Jobfind to hire the best talent in the market. Ability MapTM will also be used to build capability profiles across the group and contribute to the development of career pathways for our team.
We also use a new applicant tracking system called Bullhorn to streamline our talent acquisition processes, enable the creation of talent pools and enhance the recruitment experience for our candidates.
Our traineeship program: Angus Knight All Stars
The Allstars trainee program launched in 2021 to empower potential, providing career development opportunities within the Angus Knight group pf companies, including Jobfind.
The aim is to recruit trainees for internal positions, just as we do externally for our job seekers. Allstar trainees get the opportunity to build their career by joining one of our businesses for a one-year traineeship and beyond.
The Allstars program offers trainees a structured platform across a variety of vocational disciplines in shared services (for example IT, finance, marketing, people and culture), as well as our employment, education, and community businesses. Alongside on-the-job training, trainees can complete an accredited qualification provided by one of our registered training organisations within the Angus Knight Institute.
AllStars is a win:win for everyone
Jobfind gains full-time people with an aptitude and desire to learn, and trainees enjoy a raft of professional development benefits, including:
- gaining a nationally recognised qualification
- the ability to ‘earn while you learn’
- opportunities to acquire new skills
- access to executive mentoring and career coaching
- career pathway planning
- dedicated study time while at work
Allstars intakes are scheduled regularly throughout the year and are advertised internally throughout the Angus Knight Group as well as externally through Seek. We encourage everyone to think about family and friends who could benefit from this opportunity to unleash potential.
