Jobfind’s partnership with Programmed, a leading provider of operations and maintenance services, is getting Australian job seekers one step further to employment with tailored information sessions recently held across metropolitan Melbourne.
Danielle LeCouteur, Recruitment Consultant at Frankston, joined Effie Hiotis, Programmed jobactive Coordinator, to deliver two interactive sessions to more than 40 potential employees.
Participants were able to get a taste of what a job with Programmed is like, what roles are available and what the application process entails. This unique approach allows job seekers to make an informed decision on whether the positions are right for them or not.
At Jobfind, we are big believers in getting the right job for the right person. These sessions are one of the ways we are rewriting the rulebook through partnerships and business relationships to place unemployed workers successfully.
Besides assistance finding a job, Danielle discussed how Jobfind also helps with work-related expenses. For example, there are costs involved in completing a job application or going to a job interview. Our Employment Fund can be accessed to purchase Personal Protective Equipment, clothing, transportation and even cover the fees of industry-related tickets and licensing.
Danielle says it was terrific to have more than 40 job seekers attend over two days with face-to-face training back in full swing.
“The highlight was hearing participants say this was the best information session they have attended. It gives me so much hope! We are also looking forward to hearing the great news from our job seekers who landed a job for Christmas out of this process.”
