The Jobfind Disability Employment Services (DES) team have outperformed with a 97% accuracy payment rate for the 2020-21 Quarter 1 Assurance Program from the Department of Social Services.
The assessment period, April to June 2020, was extremely tough for many Australians. Communities were recovering from the bushfires, and the impact of COVID-19 restrictions was felt across the nation.
At this time, the Department had a dual focus on supporting DES participants and providers, and strengthening compliance around the DES program.
Priscilla Beattie, DES General Manager, is proud of her team despite the changes to processes and strengthening compliance around the DES service.
“In the lead up to our great results, the DES team worked hard to reassess internal processes and streamline the systems around delivering sound administration practice. Our result of 97% is a great achievement, and I thank you for such an amazing effort.”
To put the results in context, only half of all DES Providers achieved benchmark payment accuracy of 95%, showing Jobfind DES to be at the top with a near-perfect score for achieving compliance.
