National Skills Week (August 22-28) highlights the emerging skills needs, industry trends and many career pathways forged by vocational education and training (VET).

This National Skills Week, the theme is A Universe of Skills: Go Beyond Your Imagination. It asks people to question:

  • Could you possibly imagine a job which…
  • Did you ever imagine a career where…
  • What do you imagine for your future…

At Jobfind, we are proud to offer all of our job seekers government-funded short courses in partnership with Registered Training Organisations. These introductory courses offer our job seekers necessary skills and insights to enter in-demand industries in their local labour market.

Joshua Maher is Jobfind’s Training Coordinator and offers a rolling program of eight short courses to satisfy local demand.

“We can help our job seekers to acquire a recent and nationally recognised skill set so they improve their chances of getting the job they want,” explains Joshua.
