We are excited to announce that from 24 July 2023, Jobfind’s Disability Employment Services and sister company, Joblife Employment, unite to create a new organisation named uLaunch.
uLaunch combines the expertise, resources and networks of two respected disability employment services to deliver unparalleled support to people living with disability to connect with meaningful work.
Crucially, uLaunch will introduce new pathways to fulfilling and suitable employment that are co-created and reviewed by people living with disability.
Inside uLaunch
A focus on inclusion
Current participants of Jobfind’s disability employment service and Joblife Employment will be the first to experience the benefits of uLaunch.
To drive its innovation agenda, uLaunch welcomes a new Board of Directors assembled for their expertise and lived experience of disability.
Nearly 40% of uLaunch staff identify as living with a disability, chronic illness or injury, bringing an unparalleled level of insight, understanding and connection to the service we offer our participants.
While these changes– and other improvements– are reflective of our ongoing commitment to growth, innovation, and providing exceptional services to our valued participants and employers, the best of Jobfind and Joblife remain.
Empowering people living with a disability to thrive in employment, their communities and beyond is at our core.
Participants will continue to be reliably serviced in the offices and by the employment consultants they know and trust.
What’s more, our teams are excited about the immense potential of uLaunch, its participants and employers, to actively shape a better, more inclusive Australian workforce.
Employer benefits
Employers can benefit from the support and expertise of uLaunch to build better workforces, including access to a diverse talent pool, resources, and wage subsidies for eligible positions.
Employers currently working with Jobfind’s disability employment service and Joblife Employment can expect a seamless transition to the uLaunch fold. Our staff will contact current employers to update current wage subsidy agreements to ensure payments are processed to employers when due. Employer wage subsidy enquiries can be directed to wagesubsidy.des@angusknight.
