This year Jobfind has continued to offer a five-star service to its jobactive and Disability Employment Services (DES) clients, placing a record-breaking number of jobseekers in employment.

In January – April 2019 Jobfind and DES placed 1,695 clients into a new job, and in the equivalent period in 2020 we placed 2,042 people. This year we are delighted to say our teams have already placed 3,872 happy clients into jobs that can help them get the best possible outcomes.

Last week, the National Skills Commission released the March 2021 Internet Vacancy Index (IVI). In seasonally adjusted terms, the IVI shows that over the year recruitment activity has increased by 96.4%. Within Victoria, this figure is 106%.

We have seen growth from the following areas: Accommodation and Food Services, Construction, Education and Training, Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, Arts and Recreation Services and Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services.

JobFind has been proud to be part of Australia’s V shaped post-COVID recovery, and getting people who lost their jobs back into work has been assisted by Government wage incentives. From January to mid-April JobFind helped employers access around $720,000 government wage subsidies.
